Armor of Wildfire! Touchen!

Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!

I just watched the first episode of the new Samurai Troopers (Ronin Warriors) and had to share my thoughts. I am sure you will find them fascinating and not rambling nonsense.

First of all, I didn't realize this was a sequel, it takes place 35 years after the original Ronin Warriors. It does NOT go as expected. I don't want to spoil anything but will say there are TEN bad-guy armors this time, and the action is quick, intense, and bloody.

The visuals are insane. My ADHD attention span never waivered (as opposed to when I watched Sentenced to be a Hero episode 1, which was great, but I needed to take a break halfway through, and I found myself checking my phone a few times).

Two complaints that aren't really complaints:

1) Where is White Blaze?????

2) I watched the English dub of Samurai Troopers (Ronin Warriors) when I was a kid, so what I remember as the armor names and virtue symbols are meaningless, and I will need to re-learn the Japanese names.

This is what the internet is telling me but I am not sure if it is accurate. Can't believe anything online these days!

Armor of Wildfire → REKKA

Rekka (烈火) – blazing fire

Armor of Halo → KORIN

Korin (光輪) – ring of light / nimbus

Armor of Torrent → SUIKO

Suiko (水滸) – surging waters

Armor of Hardrock → KONGO

Kongo (金剛) – diamond-hard / unbreakable metal

Armor of Strata → TENKU

Tenku (天空) – sky / the heavens

Anyway, my inner child is excited for this series.

I really want to talk about THAT twist...and THAT one too! But...go watch for yourself. And if you already have...I KNOW, RIGHT??? RIGHT?????????
