Dragon Metal News: Gay Powers Activate!

Hey you! Thanks for opening this post. I suppose I should write something for you to read, to make it worth your time. 

Okay, here we go. 

Dragon Metal news!

Yes, I am still content editing Dragon Metal 4, but I am on the last four/five chapters, so I should hopefully be done by the end of the month! Then copy editing, proof reading, etc. In the meantime, I am continuing to work on new covers and an updated look for the series. 

Here is a sneak peak at a rough/first draft, concept sketch, in progress for Shadow Metal.

I'm also trying to come up with a snazzy Dragon Metal logo I can use on the site, socials, and in print (because branding and brand synergy and other words that I hate).

This is a sketch I put together as a starting point, which I'll give to my illustrator for reference. I am going for a MMPR Power Coin-inspired look. It is terrible, this is why I pay people to make art for me.

Before I forget, I need something to call you all, my army of loyal readers (millions, I am sure, if not billions). I was thinking…”Meddlers.” Like? Dislike? Let me know.

Now onto Other Stuff - More Stuff!

What I’m watching: Full disclosure, I was over Stranger Things. Too much time between seasons, and I had lost interest. But I watched S5 Part 1 anyway…and now I am hooked again. Gay powers, activate! I almost cried at that final scene, it was wonderful, Will is fierce and I may love him now. 

What I’m reading: Too. Many. Comics. I went freaking crazy on Black Friday and spent too much money. I bought books I didn’t even know existed, like the Tomb Raider Colossal Edition from Dark Horse, which is, indeed, colossal. 

Here’s how my shelves are looking. 

What I'm gaming: Nothing…I will probably get Dragon Quest 1 & 2 HD Remake and see if that catches my attention. 

This is exciting news, and your life is more fulfilled by knowing it. 

What I’m eating: Drank my first egg nog of the season and immediately felt the need to pass out from the rush of sugar and nog and whatever.

How my ADHA is doing: I have 6 half-started books on my coffee table and a pile of unread single-issue comics. 

What else?

Ummm…

It’s Christmas time, so I guess I should say something Christmasy?

Or…I could nap. 

Yes. 

I’m going to do that instead.

No Christmas messages from me this year. 

Although I am drinking an eggnog latte in a fancy Starbucks Christmas cup. 

Anyway…
